Devansriya, from Team Mod Danish, will be singing her rendition of Lata Mangeshkar’s timeless songs Suno Sajna Papihe Ne Kaha and Ek Pyar Ka Naghma Hai.
The upcoming episode of reality show Superstar Singer 3 is sure to leave everyone intrigued. The young contestants on the show will pay a touching tribute to the Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar. The must-watch episode will be graced by lyricist Manoj Muntashir along with the legendary poet Santosh Anand. In a mesmerising moment from the episode, 13-year-old singer Devansriya K impresses Super Judge Neha Kakkar with her captivating performance.
Devansriya, from Team Mod Danish, will be singing her rendition of Mangeshkar’s timeless songs Suno Sajna Papihe Ne Kaha and Ek Pyar Ka Naghma Hai. Her performance not only leaves the audiences spellbound but also earns accolades from all the captains, guests and super judges on the show. Besides, her remarkable talent led Neha Kakkar to say that she found a glimpse of the legendary singer in the young contestant’s voice.
While sharing her views on Devansriya’s performance, Neha said as reported by The Times Of India, “I don’t have much to say because the creator of the song has already expressed it all. Santosh ji himself has given you high praise by saying that just like Lata Ji’s voice has become immortal, may yours be immortal as well, Devi. This is the greatest honour. Truly, as I was listening to you, I couldn’t help but think that there was a glimpse of Lata Ji’s voice in yours. You sang beautifully, Devi.”
That’s not all. The episode will also see Santosh Ji sharing the unreleased version of Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai. Upon unveiling the version, he asks Neha Kakkar to sing the verse, referring to her as granddaughter. Moved by his gesture, she then pays homage to the legendary singer by crooning the verse.
Singing reality show Superstar Singer 3 is helmed by Sahil Chhabria. The show airs on Sony every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM. Hosted by Harsh Limbachiyaa, it houses the singer Neha Kakkar as a super-judge. Besides, Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Salman Ali, Mohammad Danish and Sayali Kamble were brought on board as captains to guide the young contestants.
