SAN DIEGO — Another exciting weekend of golf is set for this weekend in the Golden State, as some of the top golfers on the PGA Tour compete in the annual Farmers Insurance Open.

With Scottie Scheffler still recovering due to injury, there are several players who have a chance to win at the historic Torrey Pines this weekend.
While fans were treated to a great battle between Justin Thomas and Sepp Straka last weekend at The American Express (with Straka winning by two strokes), neither competitor will be playing this week. However, Justin Lower and Jason Day, who finished three strokes off the lead last weekend in La Quinta, are hoping they can use their good performances from The American Express to win the Farmers Insurance Open.
Day is a two-time winner of this tournament and is one of several former champions playing this weekend. Reigning winner Matthieu Pavon is back to defend his title, trying to become the first player since Tiger Woods in 2008 to win consecutive tournaments at Torrey Pines.
Luke List and Max Homa, winners of the 2022 and 2023 tournaments, respectively, are looking to add some more cash to their wallets this weekend as well.
