Hiscox Ltd. said Tuesday that Mary Boyd, formerly CEO of the independent agency business at Plymouth Rock Assurance Corp., will become CEO of Hiscox USA, effective June 24.
She will replace Kevin Kerridge, who is stepping down to pursue other opportunities, Hiscox said. Mr. Kerridge joined Hiscox in 1996 and was named U.S. CEO in 2021.
Prior to Plymouth Rock, Ms. Boyd held leadership positions at various insurers including The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. and Chubb Ltd.
Mr. Kerridge will work in an advisory role and leave Hiscox at the end of September, Hiscox said.
