Doncic has been trying to get one-on-one isolations against Xavier Tillman, the Celtics back-up big man who has filled in for the injured Porzingis today.
It’s known as being left on an island (as in left to fend for yourself) – in this case Doncic Island.
But Tillman, who is a strong-bodied big man, has stood his ground and rarely left his feet despite Doncic’s fakes and deceptions.

He forced Doncic into a miss on that last play and the Slovenian superstar gave the referee close by an ear-bashing for not calling the foul. Luckily for Luka, the referee also held his whistle when he could have dished out a tech foul.
