Thank you, to the incredible staff of Windsor Regional Hospital (Ouellette campus).
My mom recently passed away in the hospital’s intensive care unit. During her entire stay, in the emergency department, on the wards of internal medicine, and in the ICU, all staff members were kind, knowledgeable, and kept us informed of new developments all through the days and nights.

The ICU staff, especially, were fantastic. There was always a staff member nearby, available but not intruding, during our last few hours with my mom.
They allowed her to die with dignity and at peace. They gave us privacy and time to grieve.
Before we left, they provided a folder to take home with information on resources for grieving families, the contact info for all the funeral homes in the area, and a checklist of information we would need to plan her funeral. That folder was a great starting point for the long and painful process of planning my mom’s funeral and burial.
I truly appreciate the wonderful care and compassion from the hospital staff.
