During the inauguration of the new campus of Nalanda University in Bihar’s Rajgir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi experienced an unexpected moment when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar checked his finger for an indelible ink mark. The event, held on Wednesday, also saw the presence of Governor Rajendra V Arlekar and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
Prior to unveiling the new campus, PM Modi paid a visit to the nearby UNESCO world heritage site, ‘Nalanda Mahavihara’. Established under the Nalanda University Act in 2010, the educational institute commenced operations in 2014, marking a significant milestone in Bihar’s educational landscape.
