Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, Jones also was awarded the British male solo artist and outstanding contribution to music awards by Brit Awards and the U.S. Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Howie Richmond Hitmaker award, in addition to the U.K Music Industry Trusts award.
His latest release, Surrounded By Time, out in 2021, features songs he’s waited decades to release.
This will be the second time Jones has taken to the stage at the Colosseum.
He was last here in September 2016, just months after his wife Linda died.
Jones had previously said that he would stop touring if she passed before him but later told the Daily Mail his late wife wanted him to keep singing and told him not to stop before she died.
