Morocco’s central bank said local insurers’ turnover grew to 55.9 billion Moroccan dirhams ($5.5 billion) in 2023, nearly 4% higher than the prior year, APAnews reported. The growth was mainly driven by an almost 6% increase in nonlife turnover. The sector posted a profit of MAD4.2 billion, up nearly 6%.
