Brazil’s civil defense agency said weeks of massive flooding in the country’s southern Rio Grande do Sul state killed at least 180 people, and 32 are missing, Xinhua reported. The severe rains, which started on April 29, inundated several cities across the state. The extreme weather has caused record economic losses in the agricultural state.
