Mumbai: Reality TV stars Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian have arrived in Mumbai for the highly anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The sisters were spotted at Kalina airport on Thursday night, where paparazzi captured Kim waving to photographers before heading to her car. Kim donned a figure-hugging nude dress and dark sunglasses, while Khloe opted for a white T-shirt and jeans.
The star-studded wedding will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai, on Friday. Joining the Kardashians on the guest list are David and Victoria Beckham, former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, U.S. wrestling superstar and actor John Cena, and actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, according to sources.
Political figures expected to attend include former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson, along with India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Representing the business world will be Saudi Aramco CEO Amin H. Nasser and Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Y. Lee.
Pre-wedding celebrations have already seen a host of international stars. Last week, Justin Bieber performed at a private concert for hundreds of guests, while Rihanna sang at a three-day event in Gujarat in March. In May, a luxurious European cruise for 800 guests, including Bollywood stars and cricketers, added to the festivities.
Social media has been abuzz with videos and photos from the celebrations, including a clip of the Ambani family lip-syncing and dancing to a Bollywood song, and another of Mukesh Ambani and his wife driving with their grandchildren.
The wedding ceremony on Friday will feature traditional Hindu rituals, followed by a two-day reception. A special reception for Ambani’s household staff is scheduled for Monday, according to a detailed document of the plans.
