Katie Price stunned with an unforgettable performance at the launch party of her new memoir.
The former glamour model and mum-of-five, 46, was showcasing her latest memoir “Katie Price: This Is Me. The High Life” at Royal Vauxhall Tavern in London on Wednesday. Before the event, Katie had pledged to gift fans with autographed copies of her book and a unique performance.
The Mirror received exclusive access to the event and reported that the star delivered exactly what she promised, taking the stage to perform ‘Everyone’s Free’ by Rozalla Miller. Her boyfriend JJ Slater, 31, expressed his support for Katie witnessing her stunning performance from the front row.
During her performance, Katie connected with the crowd, confessing how she deemed herself “free” after opening up about her life journey through her memoir. Katie radiated confidence sporting a golden headpiece, black vest, neon pink leggings, and a yellow feathered skirt maintaining the flamboyance of her outfit.
Her admirers were swift to commend the TV icon for her remarkable singing talent couple with her bold look. A member of the audience shared their thoughts with The Mirror stating,”‘Katie teased a performance but I never thought she’d come out singing. She looked absolutely fabulous. She sang everybody’s free and said that’s how she feels now after everything she went through. The pub was packed and everyone is hanging on her every word”, reports the Mirror.
In her revealing memoir, Katie Price offers a candid look into her past and current relationships, including the tumultuous affair with Carl Wood. She also disclosed her plans for motherhood and her decision to undergo another round of IVF.
In an extract from the book, she proclaims: “I am going to have another baby. There is a clinic that currently has some donor eggs and sperm ready and is waiting for me to come in and have them implanted.”
Further on, she clarifies: “I went through a list of suitable donors and I have chosen sperm from a man who is mixed race from America and although I potentially have one egg that would be viable, I have chosen to have a donor egg too.”
The former glamour model also recounted her friendships with other celebrities, notably the late Nikki Grahame of Big Brother fame. She expressed heart-wrenching regret over missing messages from Grahame just before she passed away.
In her book Katie states: “Some of the biggest regrets I have in my life are things that I didn’t say, that were left unsaid for one reason or another. I regret that I didn’t see any of the messages that my friend and reality TV star, Nikki Graham left for me in 2021 when I entered The Priory.”
“I had no idea she was on the floor above me, on the Anorexic ward, reaching out to me and asking me to come up and see her. But I never saw the messages because I was in The Priory for my own reasons, and I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to check my phone like I normally do.”
