With the summer in full swing, many games are making saving throws to stop their players getting distracted by the sunshine, or the rain depending on where you are. And Blue Archive is doing so with a major new story event that goes live today, featuring new characters, stages and more!
The new event, “Basking in the Brilliance of Their Serenade” (try saying that three times fast) sees the inclusion of a new event story that covers seven stages. Those of you who manage to complete the whole thing will get access to Ibuki, one of the new characters added in this event, and a mystery-type striker who is the mascot of the Gehenna Academy student council, Pandemonium Society.
Added as well are three new students to the current roster, not including Ibuki. Those are Makoto, Ako (Dress) and Hina (Dress). All of these are set to offer new, powerful abilities for those of you looking to switch up your team in Blue Archive.

Fan or not, the latest Blue Archive update is definitely a beefy one. But for those of you who’re more intent on optimising their draws, you’ll be glad to know the Serenade event includes 100 free recruitment tickets until July 30th, and triple rewards for other content such as bounties and commissions until August 19th.
