It’s summer and you know what that means; trips to the beach, ice cream and- ghosts?! Yes, Play Together, the social multiplayer game from Haegin is bringing bone-chilling surprises to the heat of the season with their new Summer Horror Special Update.
In this new update, you’ll encounter ghosts that emerge when night falls on Kaia Island. But you won’t be spotting them out in the open, of course, you’ll need to take pictures to spot them in seemingly empty places (can anyone say ‘Fatal Frame’?). There are plenty of unique spectres to encounter, like a hospital patient, a pop idol and even a supernatural pooch.
And the horrific action isn’t just restrained to a single area. The School in Kaia Island’s Plaza is also facing an issue with students trapped inside the complex. You’ll need to help out the Drama Club and complete missions to uncover the mystery being the ghostly goings-on at the school.
Who you gonna’ call? Someone else
The Summer Horror event will net you bleak-looking (their words not ours) costumes and furniture pieces to fit the suitably spooky atmosphere. You can also begin a new collection with the “Life on Kaia Island” content, where you can collect cards in a variety of themes. You’ll get rewards like gems and in-game currency by collecting all the cards in a given theme.
