While it may not be GB focused, there’s also a lot of eyes on the tennis as career-long rivals Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will go head-to-head in a second-round tie.
Spaniard Nadal saw off Hungary’s Marton Fucsovics in a 6-1 4-6 6-4 win, while Djokovic beat Australia’s Matt Ebden on Saturday.
Mail Sport and The National Lottery have teamed up to bring you exclusive video content from our greatest Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave each day during the Olympic Games in Paris.Â
Sir Steve won five Gold medals in an illustrious career and is considered by many to be our greatest Olympic hero. Back in 1996 at the Atlanta Olympics, Team GB only won one gold medal – and Steve alongside Matthew Pinsent delivered it for the nation.Â
This was in an era before National Lottery funding was introduced which has transformed the fortunes of our British athletes. Thanks to National Lottery players, Team GB is now a superpower on the world stage winning 22 Golds and 64 medals at the last Olympics in Tokyo.Â
