Amid Row Over Academics’ Coaching In Finland, Kejriwal Govt Resends Proposal To Delhi LG Saxena

New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday mentioned the federal government has despatched a proposal but once more, on a coaching of government-run college lecturers in Finland, to Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, information company PTI reported.

This comes days after an analogous proposal was rejected by the LG.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal additionally expressed hope that permission can be granted for the lecturers to journey to Finland for the coaching programme.

Quoting Sisodia’s tweet, CM Kejriwal mentioned, “I hope the Hon’ble LG will allow Delhi authorities college lecturers to go overseas for coaching.”

Kejriwal had earlier mentioned LG Saxena had returned a file containing the proposal twice, asking if a cost-benefit evaluation of the programme had been executed.

Nonetheless, the Raj Niwas, in a sequence of tweets, clarified that the Lt Governor had solely suggested the Delhi authorities to judge the proposal and assess the effectiveness of such international coaching programmes undertaken previously.
