ConSup North America Inc. of Lincoln Park, NJ is recalling roughly 85,984 kilos of ready-to-eat (RTE) sliced prosciutto ham product produced in Germany with out the advantage of equal inspection, based on the U.S. Division of Agriculture’s Meals Security and Inspection Service (FSIS).
The issue was found when Germany’s Federal Workplace of Shopper Safety and Meals Security notified FSIS that H. Klümper GmbH & Co. KG, a German institution, produced a portion of the recognized heaps with out the advantage of equal inspection and exported them to the U.S. for distribution.
FSIS is anxious that some product could also be in customers’ or retailers’ fridges.
Recalled product was shipped to retail places in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
The RTE sliced prosciutto ham merchandise was produced on varied dates from Sept. 25, 2023 by way of March 6, 2024.
Recalled product:
- 5.29-oz. plastic packages containing “Stockmeyer PROSCIUTTO Product of GERMANY” with lot codes 09118-3A, 09118-3B, 09120-3A, 09120-3B, 13133-3A, 13133-3B, 13104-3A, 13104-3B, 13105-3A, 13105-3B, 13109-3A and 13109-3B and “BEST BEFORE:” dates of 4/28/2024, 5/26/2024, 7/7/2024, 8/4/2024, 8/11/2024 and 10/7/2024.
As of the posting of this recall, there have been no confirmed reviews of hostile reactions as a consequence of consumption of those merchandise. Anybody involved a few response ought to contact a healthcare supplier.
